About Grace Johnson
Grace V. Johnson is a talented editor who worked to transcribe, edit, bind and digitize "London's Mourning Garment, or Funerall Teares." Her decisions were based around making the document more accessible for students and scholars hoping to understand what death pamphlets actually were. She chose this document because of her obsession with the Tudors, even though "London's Mourning Garment" was published at the very beginning of the Stewart dynasty. Her father's ownership of Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd. in Rockford, Illinois has helped her interest in death grow over her twenty-one years, ultimately leading to her decision to work with this document.
